Introduction

I am sales manager for a large company headquartered in Philadelphia. My wife, daughter, and I moved here from Malibu, California last year.

I have enjoyed and collected wine since my college days when I discovered that I couldn't drink beer and didn't care for the after effects of hard liquor. I have a large walk-in cellar in my home which contains a diverse collection of French, Italian, Australian, and domestic wines. I have moved from a heavy focus on French wines early on to a cellar dominated by California wines (understandable since I lived there 12 years). Although there are several local wineries, I cannot recommend any of their wines.

The Philadelphia area is full of history and tradition. There are certainly many places to visit locally. I would recommend some of the Long Island, NY wines. This is a very pleasant area to tour.
